The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft.
The F-14 Tomcat was carrier-based two-seat aircraft. The aircraft was developed by Northrop Grumman to replace the F-4 Phantom fighter and entered service in 1972.

They are supplied by BAE Systems. The F-14D front cockpit is equipped with a head-up display and two multifunction flat-screen displays.
The rear cockpit for the radar intercept officer is equipped with a display that presents fused data from the AN/APG-71 radar and from the suite of aircraft sensors.
The airframe that reached such a top milestone was a Grumman F-14D and it was the last but one Tomcat (or Super Tomcat, as the D version was also known) built.

The Tomcat came in three different models: A, B, and D. Initially, the Tomcat used Pratt and Whitney TF-30 engine that have low thrust.
So they required the pilot to run the afterburner when launching from the carrier later these engines were replaced by General Electric F-110 engines
