6 people killed in a Piper PA-23 aircraft crash in the Philippines

Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) confirmed that A Six seater Piper PA-23 Apache twin-engine light aircraft crashed minutes after taking off from the Plaridel Airport in Bulacan, killing the pilot, his co-pilot, and four passengers

According to Eric Apolonio, CAAP spokesman, the Piper PA-23 Apache aircraft, with registry number RP-C299 operated by Lite Express, crashed on a residential area a few minutes after take-off

The aircraft was flown by Capt. Ruel Meloria and co-pilot Efren Patugalan. The plane stalled and plunged into the house of Luisa Santos at Purok 3 in the same village. plane and the house burst into flames

Till now it’s unknown that people in the house were killed or have managed to escape. Plane passenger are also not identified till now by police
