Argentina Buys Five Super Étendard fighter jets from French navy

Argentina purchased five used Dassault-Breguet Super Étendar fighter jets from France’s navy for 12.6 million euros  According to official government gazette.

Argentina used Super Étendard aircraft, which were manufactured by Dassault, during the 1982 Falklands War against Britain. Argentine Navy originally received 14 aircraft, of which none are currently operational.

Right now Argentina only have A-4AR Fightinghawk fighter jet which will retire this year

Argentine is looking to modernize its fighter jet fleet with economical fourth generation fighter jet

Argentine showed interest in buying Pakistan JF-17 multirole fighter jet .
