The Above was video was taken on on Apr. 20, 2008 when a Georgian unmanned aerial vehicle was Shoot-down by a Russian Mig-29

Both the Georgian UAV was shootdown with an air-to-air missile fired at the very close range.

The use of guns may not be the best option to down a drone

The unarmed Georgian UAV was conducting a surveillance above the breakaway Georgian territory of Abkhazia

when it was approached by a Mig-29 and hit by an air-to-air missile shot at a short distance.

You can see the entire scene thank the footage transmitted live by the doomed drone before being hit.

Israeli fighter jets shoot down a drone

 

In the Above video, Israel’s air force shot down an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). In the video, a small, unidentified aircraft is seen moments before being destroyed by a missile fired from a fighter jet.

The drone was first spotted above the Mediterranean Sea in the area of the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip to the west of Israel

The drone was kept under surveillance and followed by Israeli air force jets before it was shot down above a forest in an unpopulated area near the border with the occupied West Bank.

F-16 jet shoots down a drone in mid-air target practice

 

In the above Video, The Royal Danish Air Force participated Shooting down a drone with Fighter jet. You can see  F-16 Fighting Falcon jet shooting down a remote Banshee 600 drone using guided missiles.
