At least four people were killed and two others injured as a small-scale Cessna plane crashed into a residential building in the Mexican city of Culiacan in Sinaloa state, media reported on Tuesday.

According to Aristegui Noticias, the building was seriously damaged. The causes of the incident are being investigated, the media added.

The pilot was named Domingo Israel “N”, known as “Mingo”, of Badiraguato; while the co-pilot was identified as Karim “N”, the latter being 27 years old and originally from Veracruz.

According to the information to which Línea Directa had access, the Cessna plane, white and red, with license plate XB-NGU, took off at 16:45 hours from the Aerodrome of Culiacán.

Terrifying eyewitness footage captured the moment a small Cessna aircraft lost control, diving towards a residential area before slamming into a home, killing four people and injuring three.

The incident occurred Monday afternoon in Culiacán, capital of Sinaloa state in northwestern Mexico. Residents heard a violent crash and discovered the white Cessna aircraft embedded in their neighbors’ home.

The output was recorded as a local team test flight.

The plane lasted only 7 minutes in the air. At 16:52 he collapsed on the house.

According to reports, the pilot reported a mechanical failure to the control tower within minutes of taking off.

It was also announced that the plane was not owned by the victims, but by an air taxi company and for the transfer of goods.

At the scene, behind the tape, a mother cried inconsolably the death of her son. Later more relatives joined to wait for the bodies to be removed from the rubble.

So far the other two crew members of the aircraft have not been identified. While a woman and two minors were injured in the house, they are out of danger.
