Ukraine Claims to Shutdown a Newest Russian Inokhodets Armed Drone

The Ukrainian Armed Forces claim to shot down a newest Russia’s newest Inokhodets armed drone.

The drone was shot down by Ukraine on Friday. This is the first confirmed loss of an Inokhodets unmanned aircraft system in the war.

According to a video published on the YouTube account of the Russian MoD (Ministry of Defense) on March 16, 2022, Russia has used Kronshtadt Orion also called Inokhodets, unmanned aerial vehicles armed with guided missiles to destroy fortifications and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Inokhodets is a medium-altitude, long-duration unmanned aerial system with a maximum take-off weight of 1 tonne and a maximum payload weight of 200 kg.

The drone has a service ceiling of 7.5 km and its flight endurance is 24 hours with the standard payload. It can develop a speed of up to 200 km/h.

The drone can stay in the air for up to 24 hours. Its maximum payload weight is 250 kg.
