In 2020, the US Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon Demonstration Team, commonly known as Viper Demo, unveiled a stunning new paint scheme for their primary demonstration jet.
The jet was named “Venom” and it features black snake scales across its back and up the tail. The tail code and markings are highlighted in the same yellow that the team uses for its logo.
The snake scales across the body of the aircraft fit the namesake of the jet and our signature black and yellow colors feature prominently from nose to tail.
In the latest episode of his walkaround series, Erik Johnston brought us a tour of the F-16C Block 50 with the Viper Demo Team’s pilot and commander, Major Garret “Toro” Schmitz. Featured in the video is the F-16 #94-0047.
