Ukrainian Attempt to Poison 77 Russian Pilots with Cake & Whiskey Thwarted in Shocking Twist

In a shocking turn of events, a sinister plot to poison dozens of Russian pilots was narrowly thwarted, as Ukrainian native Egor Semenov allegedly attempted to carry out a deadly scheme at the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School in Russia’s Krasnodar region.

The incident unfolded during a banquet held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of alumni graduation, attended by 77 esteemed guests, including high-ranking active-duty pilots.

According to reports, the gathering took a dark turn when a deliveryman arrived bearing an enormous 20-kilogram cake and several cases of Jameson Irish Whiskey, purportedly gifts from unidentified “grateful admirers.” Initially, the alumni were elated by the unexpected gesture, but suspicions arose as the sender’s identity remained shrouded in mystery.

Swift action by security officials, who reviewed CCTV footage, revealed the deliveryman to be 32-year-old Egor Semenov, originally from the Ukrainian city of Melitopol, now residing in Russia since 2017. Semenov, described as an ordinary individual, earns a living installing intercom systems and is a devoted father to a young child.

Authorities apprehended Semenov at Stavropol Airport, where he was attempting to board a flight to Moscow, presumably as part of his escape plan. Under questioning, he allegedly confessed to delivering the poisoned items, which included both the cake and whiskey.

The investigation has now shifted its focus towards locating the local bakers responsible for creating the perilous dessert, adorned with the emblem of the aviation school.

The incident has raised concerns and suspicions regarding potential involvement by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine, with Russian media outlets speculating on the matter.

Fortunately, due to the vigilance and conscientiousness of the officers present, the guests were spared from consuming the toxic substances.

The foiled attempt marks a stark reminder of the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, with diplomatic implications yet to unfold. The resilient vigilance of Russian authorities prevented what could have been a catastrophic event, safeguarding the lives of all 77 guests present.
