Two pilots ejected from Russian airforce Sukhoi Su-30SM fighter jet on the runway at saki airbase. Both pilots ejected during pre-flight preparation.
The incident occurred on May 21 at 18:49 at the Saki airfield. The Su-30SM aircraft tail number 37 was preparing for a taxi when the crew took seats in the cockpit and the fastening system was triggered by the ejection.
The ejected pilots, Lieutenant Colonel Khomyakov and Major Dodukh are alive and have no injuries.
The plane has no damage. The injured servicemen received medical assistance, after recovery they will begin to continue to perform their duties of military service.
The Su-30 is a Russian two-seat multipurpose heavy fighter, while the Su-30SM is its modern modification, supplied to the Russian Air Force and a number of foreign countries.
