Helicopter Crash In Navarro County, Pilot Injured
A helicopter crashed in Southeast Navarro County due to a loss of power. The pilot tries to land the helicopter but he was unsuccessful and got injured
The pilot was immediately taken by air ambulance with minor injuries to an area hospital
No one else was on board
The two-seat Enstrom helicopter went down in a wooded area when it was returning to its home base after undergoing maintenance when it crashed
Troopers responded about 6 p.m. to the scene near U.S. Highway 287 between State Highway 309 and CR3320.
The Navarro County Office of Emergency Management and sheriff’s office also responded. The FAA will investigate the incident.
