Ukrainian Air Force Sukhoi Su-27 crash near Zhitomir, Pilot Dead
Fighter jet crashed on final approach about 2 km from Ozerne Airfield, Zhitomir Region, after performing a training flight.
The pilot was killed in the crash. The Ukrainian General Staff said the Sukhoi Su-27 went down while returning from a routine flight to its base in the northern region of Zhytomyr.

Su-27 fighter jets were designed by the Soviet Union and continue to be built by Russia.
This is the second air crash in the Ukrainian Air Force recently.
