Uzbekistan Signs Contract with Russia to buy ten Mi-35 Helicopters
The deputy head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Vladimir Drozhzhov at the ArmHiTec exhibition announced that Uzbekistan has signed a contract to buy 10 Russian Mi-35 helicopters
“We’ve got a delivery contract for Mi-35 helicopters signed in accordance with the agreements. The work is successful, and military-technical cooperation with Uzbekistan is actively developing,” he said.
The multirole Mi-35M attack helicopter is a comprehensive modernisation of the Mi-24V. The Mi-35M is built to destroy ground-based armored targets and provide air support for ground missions, as well as transport military staff, evacuate the injured, deliver cargoes and perform other tasks.
The helicopter is outfitted with modern high-precision weapons and is capable of performing combat tasks on a round-the-clock basis under various weather conditions.
The Mi-35M offers round the clock:
- Combat use of guided and unguided weapons in regular and challenging climate conditions;
- Operational for attack flights at altitudes of 10-25 m daytime and 50 m at night over land or water.
