Kenya Airforce aircraft crashed at Kungu Market of Taita Taveta
Kenya Airforce aircraft registration number KAF 72 flying from Mombasa to Nairobi0 crashed at Kungu Market of Taita Taveta .
Two Kenya Defense Force (KDF) pilots managed to escape with minor injuries and was taken to Wesu District hospital for further check-up.
Taita-Taveta County divisional police commander Francis Mwangi said that “It is not immediately clear what caused the accident but reports indicate that the engine developed mechanical problem and it crashed after hitting a post,”
He further added that the two officers were on a training mission
Crashed Site is sealed and a team of military investigators have joined local detectives for investigation of plane crash
