To mark the celebrations of 75 years of India’s Independence under the event ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted an “Elephant Walk” with Rafales & Jaguars Jets.
Taking to Twitter, IAF shared spectacular images of fighter jets displaying the ‘Elephant Walk’ formation.
The fighter jets included Rafale and Jaguar series. Take a look:

As per the Indian Air Force, the celebrations were marked with Swift and Lethal #75 as the nation completed 75 years of Independence on August 15. IAF commemorated India’s 75 years of Independence.
PM Modi had initiated the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations for 75 years of independence from the British Raj.
To commemorate the monumental occasion, IAF also came forward with a ‘swift, lethal’ charge.
This is the first time the Indian airforce has conducted such an Elephant walk. Earlier it was avoided due to the fact that Russian engines are very prone to foreign object damage and performing it with the Russian fighters is risky.
That is the primary reason why there are rafales and jaguars instead of Su 30 MKI.
This elephant walk also reminds us that though we are a peace-loving country, we can demonstrate our destructive power if provoked to do so.
