A Fuerza Aérea de Chile F-5E Tiger III lost canopy after taking off from El Tepual airport.

During a deployment to northern Chile of six F-5E/Fs, a Tigre III lost its canopy after taking off from El Tepual airport.

Six F-5E/Fs aircraft were performing a deployment in northern Chile.

The piece fall near Puerto Octay, and the aircraft landed safely at El Tepual.

No one was hurt on the land.

The Chilean Air Force has already opened an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.

A day earlier, a US Air Force T-38C Talon also lost its canopy during a flight over Oklahoma.
