Cessna 337C Super Skymaster plane crash in Harrison County, 4 Dead

The aircraft impacted wooded terrain in Harrison County south of Hallsville, Texas.

The airplane sustained unreported damage and the 4 occupants received fatal injuries. 

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office confirms that a plane has crashed in a wooded area in Hallsville.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the plane went down around 6:30 p.m. south of FM 968 on Waldrons Ferry Road.

The Department of Public Safety and Federal Aviation Administration are on the scene.

According to KGAS, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration are on scene in the area around Farm-to-Market Road 968 and Farm-to-Market Road 450, south of Interstate 20

KGAS reports deputies responded to the area earlier on Saturday following reports of a “loud boom.” However, officials were unable to find anything.

The crash was then reportedly discovered this evening by hunters.
