A Colombian Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Colombiana) Lockheed C-130B suffered hydraulic failure at Bogotá AirportEl Dorado International Airport (BOG/SKBO), Bogotá

After takeoff, the Lockheed C-130B FAC-1001, operated by ESCTA 811, encountered technical difficulties.

The pilots returned to El Dorado International Airport, Bogotá where after landing, during taxi, the airplane sustained a hydraulic failure in the landing gear.

All the pessengers onboard were unharmed.

The Institution is coordinating the necessary maintenance and towing of the aircraft.

Meanwhile, experts from the Air Force Inspection General are carrying out the investigation to determine the causes of the incident.

The C-130 Hércules has registration FAC1001 and was destined for the Tres Esquinas Air Base, located in the Department of Caquetá, in eastern Colombia.
