An Aerowest Cessna 560XLS+ Citation XLS+ plane carrying singer Pink’s crew ‘crash-lands in Denmark’ after bursting into flames
A Cessna Citation XLS+ was damaged beyond repair when it caught fire upon landing on runway 10R at Aarhus Airport. The eleven occupants were not injured. The aircraft was hired for the manager and tour members of pop star P!nk.
Weather at the time was foggy with a visibility of 650 m reported at 00:20 hours (18 minutes before the accident) and increasing past 1500 meters at 00:50.
Pictures taken from the airport show the plane on the grass beside the runway, before a truck removed it with a crane.
Danish police confirmed that the incident took place on Monday night, though they did not mention Pink by name.
Local media reported that Pink, who performed in Oslo Monday evening, was not on the flight
Police said that a private Cessna plane with 10 people on board caught fire on landing at Aarhus airport.
It said the plane had flown from Oslo and that those on board included seven passengers – four US citizens, two Australians and one British national.
Police said they could not comment on the circumstances or possible causes pending an investigation.
Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, was not on board the plane at the time. The Stupid Girls singer’s manager was among 10 passengers and three crew staff who were caught up in the crash, with reports claiming they all escaped unharmed.
The jet was flying into Denmark following the singer’s performance on her Beautiful Trauma tour in Oslo, the night before.
