1 Dead in a Ultralight plane crashed near Nannhausen, Germany

An ultralight aircraft crashed on Thursday at Nannhausen in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The ultralight plane crashed under unknown circumstances. The pilot died in the crash.

The plane crashed into a meadow about 200 meters from the airfield.

The 74-year-old pilot, who sat alone in the plane. He died at the scene of the accident.

The cause of the accident is unclear.

Experts from the German Federal Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau were called in.
