Algeria military plane IL-76 has crashed shortly after taking off from the Boufarik base in Algeria,257 people on board
According to local media, all 2oo people on board are dead
The base is only 20km from the Algerian capital of Algiers.
Images posted on an Algerian website showed thick smoke billowing from the site of the crash, as several rescuers rushed to help.
