F-111 fighter jets  have performed the spectacular dump and burn manoeuvre at Brisbane’s Riverfire festival for years

While the F-111 was originally designed as a strike aircraft specializing in target attacks as well as maritime strikes and reconnaissance

Furthermore, The dump and burn has had its critics, with some saying the manoeuvre, which burns around 200 litres of fuel, is a waste of money and bad for the environment.
