Força Aérea Brasileira Embraer A-29A Super Tucano plane crashed in a field after a technical malfunction, the pilot ejected safely.
The Air Force Command reported that a pilot from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) ejected himself, “after detecting a technical failure in the A-29 Super Tucano fighter aircraft, during a training flight. The aircraft was directed to an uninhabited region, where collided with the ground”.
The Air Force set up camp in the area to prevent the entry of civilians and preserve the crash point, as well as the conditions of what was left of the plane, which broke into 3 pieces, with parts scattered around the rural property, including the engine that came loose from the plane.

Unofficial information indicates that the pilot is 1st lieutenant, 24 years old. He was rescued by a Pelican Squadron H-60 Black Hawk helicopter (2nd/10th GAV), doing well and receiving medical attention.
The incident will be investigated by the Air Force Command.
