The Colombian Bell UH-1H Huey II helicopter crashed under unknown circumstances.
Regretfully three occupants died and two occupants were seriously injured.
“The air force reports that the Huey II helicopter … which was flying between Air Combat Command No. 4, in Melgar-Tolima, and Air Maintenance Command, in the city of Madrid, in Cundinamarca, crashed in the area of Bojaca,” the FAC said.
Cundinamarca’s risk management agency said the two survivors remained trapped in the fuselage.

Firefighters from nearby towns, as well as rescue teams from the air force and army, had been dispatched to the accident site to attend to the victims.
At the moment the identity of the victims is unknown, however, as it was possible to establish the Combat Air Command No. 4, it is carrying out the respective rescue and investigation work, and in a few minutes, more details of this fact will be announced.

According to the FAC, the aircraft last communicated with ground control at 11:10 a.m. local time (1610 GMT).
