Afghan National Army Helicopter emergency landing, pilot injured

An Afghan National Army (ANA) helicopter performed an emergency landing in Sarobi district of central Kabul province due to a technical issue, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said.

Gen. Mohammad Ramdish, MoD spokesman, confirmed the incident happened this afternoon near a military base in the district.

He said the ANA helicopter was flying from Nangarhar to Kabul when it performed an emergency landing in the district.

He said the helicopter pilot was injured in the incident and a technical team had reached the area.
