El Salvador Air Force Cessna A-37 Dragonfly makes emergency landing at the Monseñor Romero airport

The military trainer plane crash landed after a partial landing gear collapse.

Both pilots survived the crash

A model A37B plane had to make an emergency landing on one of the runways of the Oscar Monseñor Arnulfo Romero airport.

The Ministry of Defense has said that failure in the landing gear forced it to return to land.

The information given by the national defense indicates that the pilots carried out a “train up” maneuver, executed in a great way, as indicated by the military authorities.

In addition, when the aircraft was on the ground, the Salvage Unit sprayed all the equipment with foam to avoid overheating and causing a fire.
