Finnish Air Force BAe Hawk Trainer Aircraft Skidded Off The Runway During Landing

Finnish Air Force BAe Hawk trainer aircraft skidded off the runway during landing.

The Air Force School’s Fighter Squadron 41 aircraft drifted off the runway at Tikkakoski base in Jyväskylä due to a tire breakdown.

There were no personal injuries or significant equipment damage.

The tire of a Hawk jet trainer on a school flight broke down during a landing due to a brake failure at about 1:10 p.m.

The aircraft drove off the runway at low speed. Hawk had a double crew of Defense Forces personnel.

The aircraft that has landed on the runway has been towed away and the airport will continue to operate normally.

AIB Finland is going to investigate this incident.
