A Libyan Air Force Mil Mi-171E helicopter carrying millions of cash rolled over during landing on a football field in Tarhuna.

At least two occupants were injured.

The football field of this sports facility is used as a runway. However, this time something went wrong, as a result, the tail boom of the helicopter broke, the propeller blades were damaged, and it fell on its side. 

The media center of the ministries, bodies, and institutions of the Government of Libya said in a statement issued by it, that a helicopter crashed in the city of Tarhuna, and it was transporting sums of money, and two of its crew were slightly injured.

The statement indicated that the plane crashed in the Sports City in Tarhuna, and forces belonging to the 444th Brigade of fighting rushed to cordon off the area, while ambulances rushed to evacuate the wounded.
