Turkish Air Force KT-1 Training Aircraft Crashes In The Sea Pff Foça

The KT-1 type military training aircraft, which took off from the 2nd Anajet base in İzmir, crashed in the sea off Foça for an unknown reason.

The Ministry of National Defense announced the two pilots aboard were rescued.

The cause of the incident that took place off the coast of Foça, a district in the western province of Izmir, is not yet known.

The aircraft took off from a military base in Izmir, which is home to the Second Main Jet Base Command.
