Two Helicopters Collided In Flight Near Hebbronville, Texas

Two Robinson R22 Beta helicopters collided in flight near Hebbronville, Texas, USA. One crashed, killing both occupants.

The other helicopter made an emergency landing. The pilot survived.

The Department of Public Safety confirms that two people are dead following a helicopter crash in Duval County this morning.

The crash happened just before 9 a.m.

The DPS tells us two helicopters were flying over Wagner Farm, which is privately owned, when they collided.

One copter was able to make a safe landing, but the other crashed.

The two people killed were in that crashed helicopter.

One person died at the scene, the other was flown to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Alice where that person died.

Another person is in serious condition. They were flown to Spohn Shoreline.
