Yesterday, April 22, at about 5:00 PM, an Mi-8 helicopter of the 15th Air Force Air Transport Brigade made a forced landing in a field in the Kyiv region.

It is reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces.

The crew landed a helicopter on one engine due to the failure of another.

It is likely that the failure of the second engine was caused by a bird strike in the flight.

The helicopter performed scheduled training flights at extremely low altitudes, where, along with other Mi-8s, completed exercises in combat training in the composition of the pair.

That is, despite the fact that the situation was an emergency situation, but the Mi-8 Air Force crew knew how to act in such cases and made a forced landing.
