Mali has seen many spectacular armed actions in recent days. A complex attack occurred, for example, in Sévaré against the G5Sahel Joint Force headquarters on June 29, 2018.
It killed three people, including one civilian and eight wounded. Claimed by JNH (Jabhat Nusrat Al Islam Wal Mouslimin), the attack looks like the one against the Minusma in Timbuktu a few months ago.

Further south of the Boko Haram elements attacked two positions of the Nigerian army in the region of Lake Chad, close to the Chad border, on the night of Saturday, Sunday, 1 July.
The Bilabrim and Koulbakoura outposts were targeted. From security sources, at least two soldiers were killed and three army vehicles destroyed by the jihadist group Boko Haram.
